Dear MendMeShop, I have bicep tendonitis and a partially torn rotator cuff...which was the reason I bought the machine.
It was the only thing which gave me relief.
As of April, I was seriously considering surgery and the Dr. gave me 3 months to think about it. I used ultrasound frequently and when I returned to him in July, he was shocked at the improvement...he said surgery was not recommended at that time!
I didn't need it too much over the summer but used it on my other problems...arthritis in my knees and feet... also, spurs and plantar fasciitis in my flat feet. I kept meaning to contact you but it has been a trying year with my mother, mother in law and 15 year old dog passing...and me not addressing my pain.
Now with winter in full force again, I am in constant pain...my feet /ankle being the biggest problem. When my shoulder pain crops up, I immediately use ultrasound and it seems to prevent worsening. My husband has used it a few times as well, as he developed a slight shoulder problem. I LOVE my ultrasound!
Thank you so much for your help and for the wonderful machine! I have told numerous people about it but they tend not to believe that it could work.
Before I ordered it, I was in constant pain...I figured it was worth a shot. I am so glad I did. I hope I can get some relief for my current pain after getting some more gel. Rating: Margery Levin
More Tendon Facts:
Ultrasound can speed tendonitis recovery significantly.
A fully ruptured Tendon REQUIRES surgery. It will not heal on its own.
Except for a fully ruptured tendon, Tendonitis can almost always be cured without surgery.
Left untreated, tendonitis can be extremely debilitating and lead to life long complications.
Continually using your Tendon while it is injured will lead to a worse injury.

Thank You again mendmeshop, from the freedom of pain, and such a wonderful product, I would never do without. Rating: A Leyva Dear MendMeShop, Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis, I have no idea as to how I became injured, but it was there and it became so difficult to walk at times, especially after getting up from a resting position that I had to seriously address it. I went to a podiatrist and after trying several treatments such as physical therapy, prescription orhtotics and acupuncture there was no improvement, so the subject of surgery was suggested by the podiatrist. I was totally opposed to surgery.
I heard about ultrasound therapy by a friend that told me it was used at times for sports injury. I found the MENDMESHOP on line, I spoke to them several times and the friendly staff gave me a great deal of information on the use of the ultrasound machine.
I purchased the ultrasound machine and after three weeks of use, I noticed a significant improvement in my condition, not only did I use the machine on the Achilles and Plantar tendons, but also my wife used it on a Rotator Cuff tear with the same results.
I am extremely satisfied with the therapeutic results from the machine and highly recommend the device. Rating: Bob Morales Dear MendMeShop, Paul, thanks for the information. I am using my Ultrasound Equip. twice a day.
I can already tell a difference in my knees.
I was already receiving ultrasound treatments as well as the electrode treatments a couple of times a week for the last 4 weeks or so with my Dr. When I saw your website and the Ultrasound for use in the home , I ask him if it would benefit me to be able to do the ultrasound treatments every day as well as when I was in his office.
He said absolutely. That made my decision to purshase the equip. a lot easier.
I begain to notice a big difference after the first week. I am now beginning my second week. I placed a order for more Gel over the weekend. Hope to receive it soon. I only wish I could have discovered your site 9 months ago when I first started having this trouble. Rating: James Renfroe

Extensor Tendonitis
Tendon Injury of the Wrist/Hand
Tendons are vital structures connecting muscles to bones. In the top of the wrist and back of our hands, there are a set of tendons, called extensor tendons, which are responsible for the fine dextrous movements of the hand. They are made up of tissue called collagen and elastin, ensuring that the tendon is both tough but flexible. Tendons need to glide smoothly, allowing the powerful contraction of the muscle to move the intended bones and joints, and hence are enclosed by synovium, a thin sheath of smooth tissue. When the tendons become irritated, their ability to glide within these compartments is restricted, causing wrist and hand pain during movement and tenderness when direct pressure is applied.
Tendon fibers can tear apart in much the same way a rope becomes frayed. Once a tendon becomes frayed, an inflammatory response is triggered; over time an inflamed tendon can become thick, bumpy and irregular. Without proper rest and time to heal, a damaged tendon can become permanently weakened.
Disruption
Traumatic disruptions of the extensor tendons or sheath can be very serious, and very often will require tendon repair surgery. An injury to this tendon can easily make everyday tasks difficult, and may very well affect a persons performance or abilities at work. At present the results of tendon repair surgery are far from ideal, as such an invasive technique can often create excess scar tissue (adhesions) between the sheath and the tendon, restricting mobility and leading to a loss of function.
Causes
If tendons are stressed enough from excessive or unconditioned use, the sheath lining can become inflamed and movements may be painful to varying degrees as the tendons glide through the inflamed sheath. Tendinitis can be caused from overuse of a limb during an activity. For example, if a person undertakes a massive spring cleaning, the wrist is usually held in a hyperextended position as the palm exerts the pressure. The extensor tendons at the wrist level are strained and tendon sheaths become inflamed. In contrast, planting a winter garden may involve more forceful wrist flexion as small spades are repeatedly drawn toward the body. This strains the wrist flexor tendons which may become painful with wrist motion, tender to direct pressure and possibly swollen.
Prevention
Prevention of extensor tendinitis is exercised simply by not overdoing any activities that use a lot of wrist motion. (ie. cleaning, gardening, typing, filing and writing) Be careful about suddenly increasing the time spent on these activities, as your tendons are not properly conditioned to the added stress. Close attention also should be paid to the positioning of the wrist and hand - try to maintain the wrist in a neutral position and avoid any excessive flexing (bending the wrist forward) and extending (bending of the wrist backward).

Tendon Injury Facts:
When the tendon gets inflamed it is known as tendonitis, and when the tendons are chronically overused, it may lead to microscopic tears in the collagen matrix and causes a gradual weakening of the tissues.
Achilles tendonitis is a common injury among runners, as the Achilles tendon is responsible for helping you lift off the ground with each stride.
As computers become ever more important elements of the work place and everyday life, incidents of wrist tendonitis are on the rise.
Oral Medications can mask the pain but do not aid in the healing of tendonitis. Anti-inflammatories and pain killers can cause tendonitis to worsen.
Ice and Compression are the easiest and most effective treatments for tendonitis.
Dear MendMeShop, I wanted to get back to you with feedback about the Inferno Wrap. So far we are very pleased with the size, light weight, flexibility and comfort of the wrap.
It is very convenient the way the cord is set up. If one has to leave the area for a moment it is much easier now because instead of removing the entire wrap or unplugging the whole thing
from the wall, you can just detach at the segment.
I like the on/off switch, too. It is much easier to see which setting it is on.
Everything about this new product seems more
intelligent and user friendly. A lot of thought was put into improving on the old product. Well done to all involved!!! Rating: Rebecca Page
Dear MendMeShop, Thank you so much for helping me get back into life again!
As a survivor of aortic dissection (that is what killed the actor, John Ritter), I work out daily with ankle weights. After adding too many pounds, I started having pain and swelling. I toughed it out because I wanted to walk again, after a year of ankle pain, I desperately needed help. I searched the Internet till I found Mendmeshop.
What a relief! In seven weeks the swelling is gone, and I am only left with off and on mild aching - which I am convinced will subside as the ultrasound gets rid of the scar tissue!
Thanks, thanks, thanks for your time and patience in helping me with helpful advice. I appreciate your personableness as well as your professionalism. Rating: Terry Ruggiero

Dear MendMeShop, I have had my Inferno Wrap for nine days and I love it. I noticed a small difference in only two days. I have a small tear in my meniscus and was in pain most of the time. My knee would slip a lot and it was extremely painful. After one treatment I noticed the difference. I am looking forward to how much better I will get after I really use it for a period of time.
