Dear MendMeShop, I am 56 years old and purchased your ultrasound equipment to repair minor joint deterioration in my shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles.
I was experiencing minor tenderness and crackling sounds in some of my joints. After one 10-15 minute treatment on each of my joints, the tenderness the next day had mostly disappeared and the crackling sounds in my knees were reduced. Greater flexibility in my ankles was the most amazing.
I offered to help my friends and family with treatments on their trouble areas. My 32 year old niece had developed stabbing pains in the arch of one foot (plantar fasciitis?) causing her to hop on the other foot first thing in the morning. With one treatment, she woke up the next morning and could walk instead of hop/limp to the bathroom. She came back right away for a second treatment and to have her husband work on his knee. They both got further relief. Now she and her husband are ready to order their own ultrasound equipment.
I also assisted my 94 year old mother that had a frozen shoulder. After two treatments, she gained a about six inches in her range of motion and she became pain free in the resting position. That is very fast progress for all of us.
Over the last 3 weeks, more of my friends got relief from the ultrasound equipment for tender Achilles heals, elbows, wrists and neck stiffness. Most comment about how pleasing the therapeutic gel is that has lavender, eucalyptus, and other ingredients.
This has been a very inexpensive way to self treat and cut down on chiropractor visits that did not really solve the problem. Rating: Connie Patterson
More Tendon Facts:
Ultrasound can speed tendonitis recovery significantly.
A fully ruptured Tendon REQUIRES surgery. It will not heal on its own.
Except for a fully ruptured tendon, Tendonitis can almost always be cured without surgery.
Left untreated, tendonitis can be extremely debilitating and lead to life long complications.
Continually using your Tendon while it is injured will lead to a worse injury.

Dear MendMeShop, Prompt shipping. Arrived at my US address within five business days.
Nice letter from the president indicates the company takes pride in its products. Well written instructions. No poor grammar you sometimes find in manuals for other products shipped from Asia (e.g., "Be sure to device turn off when done.")
I occasionally get inflammation in the soft tissues of my elbow from a radial head injury I received while playing basketball several years ago. Tired of buying joint supplements and getting only marginal results from applying heat and ice, I started looking for something new. After using the ultrasound device 1-3 times a day for 3 weeks I have noticed improvement. Less discomfort in my elbow means less inflammation. The therapeutic gel is a nice addition. The menthol in the gel is not overbearing and does not leave an offensive smell that fills my office like some other creams. I am pleased with the product and will definitely continue to use.

Healthcare research statistician Rating: Dave Collingridge Dear MendMeShop, I am writing to let you know of how excited I am to have learned, used and benefited from your ultrasound treatment. Months back, my husband bought me a car with a manual transmission. After about five months of driving it my right arm began to hurt. The pain started out mildly but soon it turned into acute bursitis. I was no longer able to use my arm nor my car.
I went to see the doctor but he could not offer me much hope, as I suffered from a stomach condition that prevented my being able to use anti-inflammatory medication. Days, weeks, and months followed and my arm worsened. I turned to the internet and came upon your website. I read your information and was surprised to hear about your ultrasound treatment. I was desperately hoping to obtain relief from my pain and so I took my chances, ordered your product and began using it faithfully in your prescribed manner.
After about a week I started to feel better. I continued with your recommendations and after about another week I was greatly improved! Within a months time I had recovered about 97 percent of my arms mobility. I am now doing great and have recovered fully. I continue to be excited about your product and if anyone around me complains about similar pain I tell them about this fantastic ultrasound device. I know that if they are serious about getting better this is a great product to try! Rating: Virginia Tellers Dear MendMeShop, I got a really good deal on this ultrasound product. I had seen others 2 to 3 times the price and pretty much the same model. It arrived on time and new in box not refurbished. Product really sped up my healing process like advertised. I would recommend this to anyone with an ankle injury, as you know it can be a long process of healing, icing and wrapping my ankle/foot alone wasn't enough, i heard about these products and gave it a try specially for the deal i got. Went to doctors, got x-rays and spent all that money for nothing. This is the second time i had an injury like this, now i have this product i wont has to go through that long process of healing and wasted doctors visits ever again.

Pes Anserine Bursitis or Tendonitis (PATB)
Pes anserine bursitis/ tendonitis is a painful, inflammatory condition affecting the tendons and/or lubricating sac (bursae) between your shinbone and the hamstring tendons at the inside of your knee; typically caused by stress to the area. Specifically, the pes anserinus is the area where the tendons of 3 muscles (sartorius, gracilis, and semitendinosus) come together. The three tendons merge together in the skin of the bone on the inside surface of the shinbone. The term, pes anserinus means "goose´s foot" in Latin - owing to the webbed-foot pattern the three tendons make when they meet.
About the Pes Anserine
These three muscles are the dominant knee flexors; they influence the rotation of the tibia and protect the knee against rotary stress. Inflammation of the bursae or tendons serving these muscles usually develops due to overuse, trauma, or degradation typically from:
- Tight hamstrings
- Obesity
- Poor sport technique, including improper warm-up, excessive hill work, increased mileage
- Biomechanical issues, such as foot rolling, out-turned knees
- Osteoarthritis
- A medial meniscus tear
Causes
Pes anserine bursitis and tendonitis is common in athletes (particularly runners), overweight individuals, and often, people with osteoarthritis of the knee.
The symptoms of pes anserine bursitis include:
- pain located 2 to 3 inches below the kneecap
- swelling in front of the kneecap (prepatellar) or underneath the kneecap (infrapatellar)
- Pain increasing with exercise or climbing stairs
- Pain and often warmth and tenderness when touched
- Pain when bending or straightening the knee.
- Pain that radiates to the back and inside of the thigh
- Visible swelling and/or redness of the tendon sheaths (tendonitis)
It is generally agreed that hamstring tightness is the most common cause of pes anserine bursitis/tendonitis. Athletes and non-athletes alike need to ensure their hamstrings are properly warmed-up and stretched before they place any stress on their knee; from extensive hill running to simply climbing stairs. If you are susceptible to PATB or are suffering from it now, you need to take steps to prevent re-injury or ensure recovery.
Prevention
To prevent pes anserine bursitis/tendonitis, it is important to first eliminate any of the underlying factors contributing to the condition. Ask your doctor or physical therapist to take a look at your gait and your posture to see if there any biomechanical issues that need to be addressed. Secondly, get advice from your physical therapist or trainer on setting a training schedule that fits your ability. Thirdly, but most importantly, warm up your hamstring and then stretch prior to activity!
Treatment
Ultrasound is an excellent tool for reduction of swelling and pain when treating pes anserine tendonitis. When inflammation occurs, rest the area, apply cold compression for 10-20 minutes at a time for at least 3 times a day. Do this to the injured area for the first day up to 3 days. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy may be used after the acute swelling is improved. Cold compression therapy will reduce initial inflammation and swelling and Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy increases blood flow through the area to speed the healing process. This can be further helped by the use of ultrasound applications over the affected area, as it reduces swelling quickly and increases blood flow to the area, helping the tendon heal more quickly.
If stitching of the tendon is required, do not use ultrasound on the area until all scabbing or wounds on the skin surface are gone. As well, allow 60-90 minutes between cold therapy treatments and ultrasound therapy or Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy to return the area to normal body temperature before beginning a different treatment.
The trick to any tendon injury is getting it to heal with minimal scar tissue formation and with as much realignment of tendon fibres as possible - something both Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy and therapeutic ultrasound are great at! Even with optimum healing there is always less elasticity in a previously injured tendon. The trick is to make sure you heal this the best you can, that way your chance of reinjury down the road is much lower than average.

Tendon Injury Facts:
When the tendon gets inflamed it is known as tendonitis, and when the tendons are chronically overused, it may lead to microscopic tears in the collagen matrix and causes a gradual weakening of the tissues.
Achilles tendonitis is a common injury among runners, as the Achilles tendon is responsible for helping you lift off the ground with each stride.
As computers become ever more important elements of the work place and everyday life, incidents of wrist tendonitis are on the rise.
Oral Medications can mask the pain but do not aid in the healing of tendonitis. Anti-inflammatories and pain killers can cause tendonitis to worsen.
Ice and Compression are the easiest and most effective treatments for tendonitis.
Dear MendMeShop, My girlfriend has an arthritic knee and she usually doesn't like lavendar scent in other products. However, with all the rave reviews, ordered it anyway. Let's put it this way, she now uses it twice a day on her knee and she finds the scent is pleasant. When I injure my hamstring playing ball, I use it too and it really works. I highly recommend this gel when using ultrasound therapy. Rating: Alfred Frimerman
Dear MendMeShop, In the fall I tore my right rotator cuff, both shoulders had been feeling stiff and sore. Began anti-inflammatory drug and PT. Began feeling a little better then left shoulder "froze" and began another round of drug and PT for both shoulders. I was fed up and started my own research for frozen shoulder and found the MENDMESHOP. I called with several questions and purchased the Ultrasound Therapy System and extra gel. I was in so much pain I paid for expedited delivery.
I received my unit and began using it. I felt better after the first treatment not cured but alot BETTER. By using your system it has greatly reduced my pain and help "break loose" my shoulders. I was greatly impressed!!!
I just saw my Orthopedic doctor on Friday he was happy with my progress and said I didn't need any formal PT sessions, but continue stretching and strengthening at home. I told him about the MENDMESHOP's at home ultrasound system and suggested they sell them at their PT clinic. HE and the resident immediately looked up your website and were impressed. I've told my fellow shoulder sufferers at PT about your system. Thanks eversomuch for such a wonderful product and such great service!! Rating: Catherine Auxier

Dear MendMeShop, I DID QUITE A JOB ON MY RIGHT SHOULDER AT THE GYM ABOUT 6 WKS. AGO TO THE POINT THAT I CONSIDERED A POSSIBLE TORN CUFF. TURNS OUT IT IS JUST A STRAIN.
AS SOON AS I RECIEVED THE U.S. UNIT I BEGAN USING IT 2X DAILY. WITHIN 4 DAYS THE IMPROVEMENT WAS NOTICABLE AND WITHIN 1 WK. I WAS 50% IMPROVED.
AT THIS TIME I GUESSTIMATE 95% OR BETTER.
I'M BACK IN THE GYM AND WELL ON MY WAY TO COMPLETE RECOVERY. I KNOW THAT WITHOUT THIS M.M.SHOP UNIT THE RECOVERY TIME/LOST GYM TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH GREATER. PRIOR TO USING THE ULTRASOUND.I WAS NOT HAVING ANY LUCK WITH MY OTHER TREATMENT MODALITIES. ODDLY ENOUGH, I FIND THAT I HAVE A SENSE OF WHAT I'D ALMOST CALL PRIDE IN OWNING THIS UNIT. I
I'VE NEVER OWNED ANYTHING BEFORE THAT CONJURED UP A SENSE OF COMFORT THE WAY THIS DOES. I SUPPOSE IT'S BECAUSE NOW I HAVE THE MEANS TO TREAT SO MANY DIFFERENT ACHES, PAINS AND STRAINS RIGHT AT HOME WITHOUT THE HASSLE AND EXPENSE OF DOCTOR VISITS. I LOVE THIS THING, IT IS ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES TO DATE. I WISH I'D KNOWN ABOUT IT YEARS AGO.
THANK YOU FOR AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I'VE BEEN TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT IT. Rating: Kevin Derks
