Dear MendMeShop, Got to tell you a little skeptical at first, but knew ultrasound works. After 4 months of terrible knee pain,i can't believe the improvment in 1 week. Lavander gel works great. Little machine works great. THANKYOU! Rating: Stanley Halulko
More Tendon Facts:
Ultrasound can speed tendonitis recovery significantly.
A fully ruptured Tendon REQUIRES surgery. It will not heal on its own.
Except for a fully ruptured tendon, Tendonitis can almost always be cured without surgery.
Left untreated, tendonitis can be extremely debilitating and lead to life long complications.
Continually using your Tendon while it is injured will lead to a worse injury.

Dear MendMeShop, Morning Tanya,
You suggested for me to send you a testimony about using the ultrasound system that comes with this special MendMeShop Lavender Infusion Ultrasound Gel. I have undergone 4 open rotary cuff surgeries in the past 8 years. They all have been very painful and long recovery time. I started using your Ultrasound System back in Feb. of 2010 when I new I had torn my cuff in the left shoulder again shovelling snow and ice. The doctors in my area all said they would have to reopen me again since I had so much scar tissue from the other 2 surgeries in this shoulder. I found your web page and read about your home ultra sound unit. I decided to order it and use it from March till July 2010. I could fell a little difference in the area of pain, but didn't stop it totally. I then went to a Dr. Vic Goridia in Chester, Va. that developed a new procedure with a scope to repair injuries in the shoulder area. After going to him for an examination, he said he could perform the procedure with his scope. I feel that the use of the ultra sound unit and gel helped enough to dissolve enough scar tissue that he could perform the surgery. He was able to complete the tear of the biceps tendon, clean out the remainder of the excess scar tissue, grind down a spur in the joint and repair a surgical mistake from another Dr. 8 years ago because the scar tissue had been reduced enough to complete the process and see inside the area better. I am now 6 weeks out of surgery and I am already moving my arm and shoulder in P. T. and using it in almost all my daily functions. In the other procedures I was still sleeping in a recliner for 8 weeks and taking heavy duty pain killers before starting P.T.
I feel the use of the unit and gel did make a big difference in the surgery and recovery of the tear. Looks like I will be able to start grooming dogs again in December 2010 and playing golf by April 2011.
Thanks for your help.
Tom
Rating: Tom Hickman Dear MendMeShop, Thank you so very much!I fell from a ladder to a cement floor several months ago and broke my hip.I'm generally very healthy, and this was my first broken bone in my 68 years. When I fell, I banged my feet on a ladder and now have inflamed bursa in my heels.I have also had some arthritis in my knees for a few years, and the accident did not help.
I am sold on your unit. We live basically on social security, and this will be a great help to us. Rating: Linda Johnson Dear MendMeShop, I used the ultrasound a few nights. My heel pain is gone and the ankle sprain is almost fully recovered.
I might be taken off limited duty at work. Thank you.

Tendinopathy (Tendinitis, Tendinosis and Tenosynovitis)
What is Tendinopathy?
Inflammation is not the most common cause of tendon pain. Rather, many small (micro) tears in the connective tissue around the tendon is the more common cause of tendon pain; this condition is sometimes termed as tendinosis. Note that we are not including tendon tears or ruptures - they are another matter altogether! Tendinopathy is becoming the term more commonly used by experts to describe tendonitis (inflammation) and tendinosis (small tears in surrounding tissue) together, as it is common for both conditions to occur collectively.
Causes and Treatment for Tendinopathy
Overuse and repeated movements (RSI), sudden injuries, slow degeneration or just aging can all cause tendinopathy. Remember that healing is slow, and proper recovery is important to get your tendon back to proper health and avoid re-injury. Ultrasound treatment is quickly becoming very popular for treating this problem, as results have been very positive as long as the patient (1) keeps the area inactive throughout the healing process and (2) sticks to the treatment properly until healing has completed.
Patients with chronic tendonitis are instructed to avoid activities that aggravate the condition, as the tendon will not heal properly if it is constantly stressed through overuse. Occasionally, physicians performed surgery on patients or gave them injections of corticosteroids, but this is invasive and is a method of last resort.
A MendMeShop Ultrasound System is great for tendonitis because you can treat yourself 3 times a day in the comfort of your own home for faster and more complete healing.

Tendon Injury Facts:
When the tendon gets inflamed it is known as tendonitis, and when the tendons are chronically overused, it may lead to microscopic tears in the collagen matrix and causes a gradual weakening of the tissues.
Achilles tendonitis is a common injury among runners, as the Achilles tendon is responsible for helping you lift off the ground with each stride.
As computers become ever more important elements of the work place and everyday life, incidents of wrist tendonitis are on the rise.
Oral Medications can mask the pain but do not aid in the healing of tendonitis. Anti-inflammatories and pain killers can cause tendonitis to worsen.
Ice and Compression are the easiest and most effective treatments for tendonitis.
Dear MendMeShop, I wanted to get back to you with feedback about the Inferno Wrap. So far we are very pleased with the size, light weight, flexibility and comfort of the wrap.
It is very convenient the way the cord is set up. If one has to leave the area for a moment it is much easier now because instead of removing the entire wrap or unplugging the whole thing
from the wall, you can just detach at the segment.
I like the on/off switch, too. It is much easier to see which setting it is on.
Everything about this new product seems more
intelligent and user friendly. A lot of thought was put into improving on the old product. Well done to all involved!!! Rating: Rebecca Page
Dear MendMeShop, I was in the middle of my training for my first Ironman triathlon in Florida, when my running had to come to a complete stop because of tendonitis in my right knee. After a month off and using the Inferno Knee Wrap for one week was able to start back where I left off in my run training and as of November 6th 2010 my Ironman dream is now a reality, finishing my training and the race in Panama City injury free. Thank you Mend Me Shop and the Inferno Knee Wrap for helping me achieve my dream. Rating: Jeffrey Lange

Dear MendMeShop, I purchased all three of your products, Inferno, Freezie, and Ultrasound , because on August 28th my life changed, I was in Florida at the beach taking my last skimboarding run when I heard the dreaded pop and hit from behind. I had in fact after an MRI 2 weeks later ruptured my Achilles Tendon 100%.
I was devastated...being 50, an athlete, former track record holder, my life came to a complete standstill. I found your site from an Achilles site with Blogs and I am very grateful.
My current condition is nothing short of a miracle.
I had surgery two and half weeks ago , surgery was open to repair tendon and was one hour 20 minutes. I was placed in a hard cast with toes down for 1 week, I observed all rules and used crutches 100%.
After 1 week cast was removed then I was back in my air cast, I could put absolutely no pressure whatsoever on the repaired leg for 4 days.
I received your products and immediately used all 3 in the correct order the inferno wrap and freezie are my favorites, I just drove home 200 miles with the inferno wrap on via a 12 volt inverter.
Last Saturday night I went out in a flip flop with the injured foot to just get used to having some weight on it. This past week i experimented with different shoes and sneakers and when I attended my second PT session all the swelling and bruising was gone and I had great side to side motion still working on stretching the achilles.
Yesterday I drove with sneakers on and walked 1.5 miles on my sons college campus with no crutch, can, etc. Today I wore docksiders and drove home another 200 miles, I am now laying in bed with the Inferno on my left foot which has the intact achilles but it is sore due to disruption of weight from injury, at the same time I have the Freezie on my repaired leg.
After reading all the stories on the internet and talking with people as well as knowing of the seriousness of this injury, I believe your products have played a key role to getting me back on my feet and my life headed back to normal 1000 times faster than the average achilles rupture patient.
Thank You so much for great products and superior service as well as unprecedented guarantee. I will let you know when I am walking normal without any limp Rating: D Hunziker
